  15 Mar 2001 - Reference page 32 in the Medlam PDF Files. Peter with family emigrated to Nova Scotia in 1803. MacKenzie called him Alexander so the name Peter should be used with caution. Donald Whyte under item 1616 had an Alexander Chisholm married to a Mary Chisholm that settled at Salt Springs in Antigonish County with thirteen children. According to page 108 in Rankin, Mary died after having one child and Alexander then married a Mary MacPhee who presumably then bore him twelve children.
