    • 22 Mar 2001 - Rev. Angus was accidentally poisoned in 1856.

      08 May 2001 - Reference page 334 in the Medlam PDF Files. In 1827 in Scotland he baptized a Duncan Chisholm, son of Duncan Chisholm of mid-Crochell and Mary MacDonald.

      20 May 2001 - Reference page 52, Vol 2, in the History of Antigonish by Ray MacLean. It was Rev. MacKenzie who wrote the "Memoir of the Mission of Strathglass." It appeared in the Scotch Directory of 1846 and was reprinted by John Boyd of Antigonish in 1850. In 1908, Blundell's "Catholic Highlands of Scotland" relates, Boyd's pamphlet was reprinted in Scotland.

      When he was Parish Priest in Kiltarlity, Strathglass, he signed a character reference for an Archibald Chisholm prior to his departure for Australia on the Conway in 1854.
