- 07 Apr 2001 - Her name came from Fr. Johnston's "History of the Catholic Church in Eastern Nova Scotia" on pages 431 & 437 (Vol 1). He stated that Jane had converted from the Presbyterian faith to the Catholic faith before her marriage.
15 May 2001 - In the History of the Frasers of Lovat by MacKenzie on page 642-643 her name was given as Jean and her father was stated to have been a William Chisholm.
