We wanted to share our news…. Dave and I got engaged on Sunday night. We are so excited. Here’s the story…

We played twilight golf at Overland Park golf course on Sunday afternoon. I wasn’t playing very well on the front 9 but started playing much much better on the back 9. It was getting dark by the time we made it to the last green on the north links course. I chipped the ball up on the green and Dave yelled he was going to mark my ball on the green because he didn’t want to hit it with his shot… It was really dark as I was searching for a coin or a ball marker. I must have looked pretty funny looking all over the green until I saw something shiny and realized it was a beautiful ring. Dave asked me to marry him and of course I said YES!

We both love to golf and play so much that this was the PERFECT way to propose. We celebrated our good scores and engagement with a little champagne! We haven’t made any plans yet but wanted to share our news. I will also take the time to send out our contact information as we haven’t been able to keep in great contact with everyone.
