- 05 Apr 2001 - Reference a letter sent DJC by an Andrew Way in California wherein it stated that Archibald settled in Sidney near his brother Alexander who obtained his patent in 1798. This letter was written by someone in Niagara Falls, N. Y. to an Archibald Way in California. The name of Archibald's wife was not known to this writer but came from the Medlam PDF Files.
05 Jul 2001 - Archibald signed the Address to the Chief of the Chisholms in 1832 along with his sons John, William Henry & Murchison. He emigrated in 1785 and served with the 1st Regiment , Hastings Militia.
